Volumes on Eurex US, the fledgling North American arm of the Swiss-German derivatives exchange, have hit record levels following the launch of the exchange's new incentive programme.

Volumes in Eurex US's Treasury futures contracts rose sharply from Friday's 6,624 to 21,342 on Monday and to 46,000 contracts three quarters of the way through the trading day on Tuesday. That figure exceeded the previous record set on February 10th.
