Inclusion standard launched as City tries to back diversity up with numbers

Two industry bodies are creating a benchmark for inclusivity in the City, as diversity metrics become key for financial services companies fighting to retain top talent.

“Although we were having conversations about diversity, many of our firms were saying that making people feel included and ensuring that the working culture is inclusive...is really important,” Claire Tunley, chief executive of the Financial Services Skills Commission, told Financial News. “That is absolutely crucial to not only retaining talent but also to attract talent.”
