Industri Kapital could float Oriflame Cosmetics, a Sweden-based cosmetics company, as early as 2004, and has retained Merrill Lynch and Carnegie, a Nordic investment bank, in preparation.

The Nordic and North European private equity firm appointed the two investment banks to lead an initial public offering on the Stockholm stock exchange this time last year. It shied away after the equity markets' downturn.
