Industri Kapital, the Swedish venture capital firm, is ready to float its portfolio company Alfa Laval as early as this year, depending on market conditions.

The venture capital firm first invested in Alfa Laval, a manufacturer of processing equipment, in August 2000. Industri Kapital owns 62% of Alfa Laval, with 37% retained by the previous owner Tetra Laval, and 1% owned by management.
