ING Barings in London has hired a senior investment banker from NM Rothschild to help build its coverage of the UK media sector.

The bank has taken on Tim Price, who will start as a director in February. He joined Rothschild in 1994, and was an assistant director in its corporate finance team. Before that, he worked at Chase Manhattan.
