ING has hired Rod Sykes from Morgan Stanley to be head of debt capital markets (DCM) for Asia.

Sykes, who joins ING as a managing director, was at Morgan Stanley for nine years, most of which were spent in senior DCM and high-yield roles. He was responsible for more than $8bn (€9.2bn) of lead managed deals for Asian issuers since 1993.
