Recruiters are tripping over each other to find the best candidates to fill a nearly 50% surge in roles for ESG specialists in the City.

But the severe lack of candidates with the right skillsets is pushing up salaries for environmental, social and governance roles — with senior roles going from a base of around £120,000 to £200,000, according to Morgan McKinley operations director Darren Burns.
