Insight changes management structure after RAM buy-out

Insight Investment Management has kept its own executives in the top three posts after acquiring Rothschild Asset Management last week, but has divided positions in the second tier fairly equally from the two teams.

Douglas Ferrans remains in the chief executive seat and has promoted Gary Mairs, Insight's managing director, to deputy chief executive and chief financial officer. He will oversee three units on the client side, and will also be responsible for Insight's corporate functions, including finance and product management, strategy/corporate development and corporate communications.
