Insight Investment, the asset management arm of HBOS, has hired its 19th investment professional this year, bringing the total in its ballooning expansion to 150, including support staff.

Simon Faure will join the alternative investment team as an analyst, focusing on global private equity fund analysis. He previously worked for AIG Global Investment as a senior private equity analyst.
