Insight tempts Chambers from Aon

Insight Investment, the fund arm of UK bank HBOS with £72bn (€107.2bn) in assets, has hired Alvar Chambers from Aon Consulting, where he was a principal pension adviser based in London.

He is the latest consultant to jump ship for the higher-salaried world of fund management. Keith Jecks, formerly partner at Watson Wyatt, the pension consultancy, recently left to become managing director of global pensions at ABN Amro.
