Instinet, the electronic brokerage owned by Reuters, has added jumbo Pfandbriefe to its global trading platform in the latest display of support for one of the key markets in Europe's fixed income sector.

The jumbo Pfandbriefe market, comprising mortgage or &quotcovered&quot bonds, has outstandings worth €350bn ($304bn), making it larger than most European government bond markets. Instinet will go live with 51 jumbos that represent the main concentration of trading activity.
