A group of institutional investors have told former WPP boss Sir Martin Sorrell that they are willing to provide more than £150m to help fund his purchase of a new marketing business.

Sorrell has taken control of shell company Derriston Capital, which will be renamed as S4 Capital and seek to “build a multi-national communication services” through acquisitions.
