Institutional Shareholder Services appoints fomer IBM man

Institutional Shareholder Services, the corporate governance specialist, has hired Randall Hancock, leader of the Institute for Business Value at IBM, as executive vice president and general manager of its global research business unit.

Hancock will head the firm's business unit responsible for corporate governance policy and vote recommendations, and oversee expansion of the company's business.
