Insurance firm presses ahead with IPO

Zurich Financial Services, the Swiss insurer, is pressing ahead with plans to float its reinsurance unit by the end of the year, despite uncertainty in the insurance sector following the terrorist attacks in the US.

UBS Warburg is understood to be leading the initial public offering.
