Intel ventures into India

Intel Capital, the private equity arm of the US technology company, has become the latest company to invest in India with the establishment of a $250m (€212m) venture capital fund to drive growth in the country's IT industry.

In August 3i, the London-quoted private equity and venture capital firm, made its first investment in India, acquiring a stake in Indian entertainments group Nimbus for $45m.
