The Chicago Board of Trade has appointed Dennis Dutterer as interim president and chief executive after the position was vacated last week following the resignation of Thomas Donovan.

Dutterer, currently president and chief executive of the Board of Trade Clearing Organisation, was picked by the board of directors to assume the position immediately while the search for a permanent replacement continues. He will return to his previously duties once the right candidate is found.
