Invesco Asset Management has won a £100m (€162.6m) active UK equity mandate with the £1.1bn Shipbuilding Industries Pension Scheme.

The assets were previously managed by Newton Investment Management, which lost the mandate because of the departure of fund manager Toby Thompson in July.
