Investcorp, the investment and private equity group, has boosted its support to investment companies by appointing two industrialists as advisory directors.

The pair of industrialists are Robert Geckle, the former group president of Textron, and Dana Snyder, the former president and chief operating officer of Ply Gem Industries. They will be based in the US and complement the work of Stephan Kessel, the former chief executive officer of Continental AG, who was appointed as a European advisory director in June 2002.
