Investment head quits Santander's UK funds arm

The head of client investments at the UK funds arm of Spanish bank Santander, which since January has run assets worth £11bn (€16.1bn) under the Abbey brand, is leaving to pursue new opportunities.

John Kelly, who helped to establish Abbey's multi-management business together with former chief investment officer James Bevan, joined Abbey in March 2002.
