Veteran investment and client relations specialists Jo Welman, Chris Edge, Nick Broadhead and Bill Horwood have joined forces to advise trustees on ways of digging their UK pension schemes out of a funding hole.

They are forming a company called Epic Investment Consulting (EIC) which will provide trustees with access to investment expertise; help them decide whether they are complying with the recommendations of the Myners report on institutional investment, and assess their socially responsible investment credentials.
