One of the UK's oldest endowments has introduced a set of ambitious gender targets for the asset managers it employs — including one to ensure 75% of an investment company's graduate intake are women.
The £200m Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust, which was founded in 1904 and uses its money to address causes of conflict and injustice, has introduced eight targets related to gender for its roster of asset managers, according to a report by the think tank New Financial.
