Investors close to accepting increased CP Kelco offer

Investors owning bonds of CP Kelco, the troubled US bio-foods group, are close to accepting the improved buy back terms proposed by Lehman Brothers at the start of the week.

Lehman offered to buy back the bonds at 92 cents in the dollar on Monday. The new price is a significant increase on the price of 80 cents first offered two weeks before.
