Investors flock to private credit funds as they easily outstrip bonds

Private credit funds returned an average of 10.3% to investors last year, substantially outperforming a key bond benchmark

The popularity of private credit funds among investors continues to rise as the asset class delivers solid returns.

Private credit funds returned about 11 times more money to investors than the equivalent bond benchmark last year, according to a report from consulting and investment firm Cambridge Associates.
