Some of the largest Swedish institutional investors in Volvo, the Swedish car manufacturer, have demanded the resignation of chairman Lars Ramqvist, following criticism against him for his involvement in the bonus and benefits scandal at Skandia, his former employer.
The internal investigation by Skandia criticises Ramqvist for requesting an apartment for himself or his son. Skandia is particularly critical as Ramqvist's son paid a low rent and bought furniture at the expense of the company.
