There should be more co-operation between local policymakers and international financial regulatory authorities, a senior member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions said on Wednesday

Such cooperation is "critical to resolving the global economic crisis," said Jane Diplock, chairwoman of the Iosco executive committee, at the annual meeting of Iosco in Tel Aviv.
