Iris Financial, the financial software provider, has launched eqTrader, a component-based portfolio management system aimed at fund managers in the growing programme trading market.

The equity portfolio management and trading system is built around Iris's component-based approach, designed to cut development time and costs by building customised infrastructures based on reusable components. This also allows customers to completely outsource IT projects.
