ISE nabs NQLX chief for strategy role

The International Securities Exchange, the world's largest equity options exchange, has hired Thomas Ascher, former chief executive of Nasdaq Liffe Markets, a single stock futures trading venture, as chief strategy officer.

Ascher will head the corporate initiatives business at the ISE, with responsibility for identifying and analysing growth opportunities for the ISE.
