ISE sets four-year record with 69% rise

The International Securities Exchange, the electronic options exchange, had the best opening day performance for an initial public offering since 2001, closing up 69% after its shares started trading yesterday.

The exchange opened 43% above its $18 offer price yesterday morning, and spent the day trading ever higher, ending the session at $30.40.
