Isma elects Van der Heyden to board

The International Securities Markets Association (Isma), the self-regulatory organisation and trade association for the international securities market, has elected Geert Van der Heyden, global head of fixed income at Fortis Bank in Belgium, as a new board member.

At its annual general meeting in Basel, members of the association also re-elected David Burnett, from HSBC Investment Bank in London Walter Henniges, Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt Gyula Pleschinger, Raiffeisen Bank in Budapest and Michael Ridley from JP Morgan securities in London. They will each serve a three-year term.
