ISS calls for vote against Arcelor buyback

Institutional Shareholder Services, a US proxy voting agency, has called for Arcelor shareholders to vote against a proposed buyback of the Luxembourg steel group's shares at an extraordinary general meeting at the end of June.

ISS, which advises 1,655 institutional shareholders worldwide, said that it had concerns that the share buyback might damage the company's financial stability.
