Italian firms have potential €200bn to bring to exchange

Italy has more than 1,000 potentially listable companies, which could bring €200bn ($205bn) to the Italian Stock Exchange, according to a new survey.

The report, by the Borsa Italiana, identified 1,200 companies in the industrial and service sectors in Italy, mostly small and medium sized firms, which meet listing criteria such as revenue over €50m and more than 50 employees.
