In an unusual move for a pension fund, Italy's Fonchim is asking its 100,000 members to state their preferred investment strategies, which could lead to it re-establishing itself as a 'multi-compartment' fund.

Fonchim, the fund for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry with assets of L500bn (€258m), currently offers one investment solution for its members.
