Italy's Govt Aims To Put An End To Intl Tax Havens-Min

The Italian government aims to put an end to international tax havens, Economy Minister Giulio Tremonti said Wednesday.

Tremonti was speaking to journalists in Rome and was responding to questions regarding an amendment involving measures that are expected to create a "tax shield," an amnesty from punishment to encourage Italians to repatriate cash invested in foreign tax shelters.
