Hector Sants, global head of international equities at DLJ International Securities, is to chair a new working committee set up by the Deutsche Börse and the London Stock Exchange to consult with the market and to develop iX, the proposed merger of the two exchanges.

Sants, who was formerly head of equities at UBS and is currently a board member of the LSE and head of the Secondary Markets committee, will be joined by 12 senior figures from across the European broking and fund management community on the senior market group.
