A foreign exchange specialist at BNP Paribas in New York – and former FN Rising Star – has left the French bank and been replaced, Financial News has learnt.

A spokeswoman for BNP Paribas in New York confirmed that James Davison had left his role as head of interest rate and FX structuring for the Americas. She said that he has been replaced by Alex Maia, a new hire who joined as managing director.
