Janus adds Munsell for financial institutions

Mutual fund powerhouse Janus Capital, whose shareholders yesterday voted to start charging performance fees on certain funds, has appointed Thomas Munsell as managing director of global client management for financial institutions.

Munsell will manage the firm's sales and service staff, who are responsible for relationships with financial institution clients in insurance, bank trust, asset management and fund-of-funds distribution sectors.
