Janus appoints Patton for US consultant push

Janus Capital Group, the Denver-based fund manager, has hired Carolyn Patton, former head of European consultant relations at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, to beef up its advisory presence as it recovers from the US mutual fund late trading scandal.

Patton, who was based in London for Morgan Stanley, will return to the US to direct Janus Capital's global consultant relations business. She will report to John Zimmerman, head of Janus Institutional Asset Management.
