Jefferies investment bank announced today that it has hired Jason Kupferberg, Mark Lipacis, David Reynolds and Robert Lea, to join the firm as senior equity research analysts. Kupferberg, formerly UBS, will cover the computer services and IT consulting sectors and is based in New York. Lipacis, who joins from Morgan Stanley, will cover the semiconductor industry and is based in San Francisco. Reynolds, from JP Morgan, will cover the Internet sector and is based in London, and Lea, a former UBS employee, will cover the semiconductor industry and is based in Hong Kong.
