Jefferies Hoare Govett wins Thomas Cook broking mandate

Holiday firm's new chief executive turns to a familiar name as major refinancing looms

Jefferies Hoare Govett, which was today named joint corporate broker to Thomas Cook, will be a familiar name to the FTSE 250-listed travel group’s new chief executive as it is also broker to the Leeds-based electronics company that she previously led.

Thomas Cook announced in a stock market filing this morning that Jefferies Hoare Govett will become its joint corporate broker alongside Credit Suisse, which was previously sole broker and has worked for the travel group since 2009.
