Jefferies, the mid-market investment bank, has recruited a new managing director to the energy investment banking group of its energy division, Jefferies Randall & Dewey.

George Hutchinson joined from Friedman Billings Ramsey, where he was a managing director in the Houston office. He previously worked for 13 years at investment manager TCW Asset Management where he was a senior portfolio manager running the firm's office in Houston.
