Veteran of investment consulting leaves Willis Towers Watson to join a consultancy pushing into the local government pension pooling project

The head of UK sales and business development in Willis Towers Watson institutional investment unit has joined competitor firm JLT Benefit Solutions as head of sales in investment consulting.

Tony Pike, who started his investment consulting career almost 30 years ago at Mercer, will remain based in Leeds in his new role. He had joined Willis Towers Watson in February 2012 after stints at fiduciary manager P-Solve and consulting firm Aon Hewitt. He reported to Jane Armstrong, the head of sales and business development at Willis Towers Watson's Investment business.
