Former investment banking reporter

A partner in the investment funds business at UK broker Oriel Securities has left and will join rival firm Winterflood Securities.

Joe Winkley, a corporate financier at Oriel since January 2009, is due to join Winterflood in its investment trusts team in the coming weeks, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

His replacement, a former partner at Ganymede Partners who has also previously worked at HSBC, joins Oriel today
