The Clearing Corporation, the agency responsible for clearing trades struck on Eurex US, is to work alongside the Johannesburg Securities Exchange to clear derivatives and stock trades.

The deal comes as the Clearing Corporation seeks new clients after the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, which had been its main customers, withdrew their business in protest of the clearing agency's relationship with Eurex US.
