UK-listed alternatives manager Man Group has recruited a former chief financial officer of UBS, who is also an ex-European president of giant Singaporean investment firm Temasek, to its board.

John Cryan, who spent more than 25 years at UBS before stepping down in 2011, will be a non-executive director at Man Group, according to a statement issued by the firm on Thursday.
