The IPO of infrastructure group John Laing will bring to an end a torrid tale for investors in the company that stretches back eight years to its acquisition by Henderson.

The company said Monday morning it plans to raise £130 million in an initial public offering, which will see the company return to the London Stock Exchange for the first time since being taken private by Henderson in 2006.
