New York-based Pivot Investment Partners will invest in around a dozen companies and is already in late-stage discussions with three, including one in London

Dinkar Jetley, formerly chief executive of JP Morgan's giant custody business, is readying the launch of a new investment firm that will back fintech companies specialising in alternative credit and wealth management.
