JP Morgan has hired a former Morgan Stanley veteran who most recently worked in business development at hedge funds Rubicon Fund Management and Polar Capital as head of product management in equity research, as it continues to shake up the unit.

Rob Blaxland has joined JP Morgan as a managing director in equity research focusing on product management. He will work closely with Neale Stevenson, and reports to head of research Paul Huxford.
