JP Morgan has installed new heads of its equity-linked teams in Europe and Asia after a senior London banker and 25-year veteran of the Wall Street bank decided to take a break.

The US bank said in a memo sent to staff on June 20 signed by Achintya Mangla, head of equity capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa that was seen by FN, that Alex Large - who has been head of equity-linked solutions in the region since 2012 - had decided to "take some time off before embarking on the next phase of his career".
