Viswas Raghavan, JP Morgan's head of European equity capital markets, is to take responsibility for its debt markets business as part of an expanded role that includes Asia, according to sources close to the bank.

Raghavan, who was made sole head of European ECM just over two years ago, will become head of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific capital markets.
