A 20-year veteran of JP Morgan's California-based technology coverage team is returning to the US bank after a sabbatical of more than a year – and will relocate to London to take charge of its European technology investment banking team in the summer.

A 20-year veteran of JP Morgan's California-based technology coverage team is returning to the US bank after a sabbatical of more than a year – and will relocate to London to take charge of its European technology investment banking team in the summer.

Sanjay Jain, most recently global head of software investment banking, is rejoining JP Morgan after taking a sabbatical in April 2015. From August, he will be the bank's head of technology investment banking in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a memo sent to staff on May 23 by Jake Donavan, head of Emea industry coverage for corporates.
